Hobart's newest luxury boutique hotel is intimate and welcoming, lavishly but tastefully decorated with fine artworks and antiques. Private intimate dinners can be arranged in the original 1847 Regency-style house's drawing room (or ''rose room'' for its rich colour scheme). Large windows overlook the circular drive with crab apple and rose garden views and the fire can be lit on chilly Tasmanian evenings.
